Tribal Offices, Tribal Land, Avenida Central, La Grange, Ca. 95329
On Sunday, December 17th, 2023, the California Valley Miwok Tribe made the December and the final delivery of 2023.
Again as it is getting darker earlier this time of year and the tribe needs to finish purchases and gather donations in route, stories seem to be the only light in the darkness of night.
This delivery also included a large box of both purchased and donated gifts for the federally recognized families and children of the tribe. Something extra that was undertaken to help make everyone’s Christmas a little merrier.
No negativity against those individuals and/or two groups feloniously trying to steal the identity of the true and only recognized citizens of the California Valley Miwok Tribe. No negativity also towards their corporate or local bureau, bureaucratic bad actors who by act or financial ownership over them are also wholly complicit in the conspiracy of attempted theft of a federal tribe.
No to all of these people, their corporate sponsors, or local government conspirators acting in bad faith and in violation of federal law….
(TO ALL OF YOU THIS CHRISTMAS WE WISH YOU A VISIT FROM KRAMPUS, MAY HE BEAT ALL OF YOU AND LEAVE A CHUNK
OF COAL IN YOUR STOCKINGS).
TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SENT CARDS, WISHED THE TRIBE WELL, HAVE ASSISTED EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY
WITH US TO GIVE AS MUCH CARE AND SUPPORT AS WE CAN CREATE TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS AND LESSEN THE HARDSHIPS
OF OUR PEOPLE…..
WE WANT TO WISH ALL YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE THE MERRIEST OF CHRISTMASES AND AN EVEN BETTER NEW YEAR
WITH ALL OF THE PROMISE OF WHAT CAN BE.
We would like to thank all those listed below for their assistance throughout the year and to those not listed you are also in the hearts and minds of the tribe and are in our thoughts and prayers.
The United States Department of Agriculture, Costless Stores Inc., Food For Less Stores Inc., The Grocery Outlet Inc., Walmart Stores Inc., Morada and its surrounding communities, all those not mentioned by name or business in above story, (but you know you are appreciated) and to our Program Director Mildred Burley whose unwavering commitment to her tribe is a continuing source of inspiration and pride.
