On Saturday, January 25, 2014, the California Valley Miwok Tribe (CVMT) received a flier from the Native Wellness Institute regarding upcoming training workshops that will be held in Anaheim, California. The ‘Mission Statement’ of the Native Wellness Institute is, “The Native Wellness Institute exists to promote the well-being of Native people through programs and trainings that embrace the teachings and traditions of our ancestors”.
