(FFTF) Food For Tribal Families, Director Mildred Burley 81 years young and staying strong in defense of her tribe. Mildred was elated to see the continuing concern expressed through donations from the community in which her tribes official government offices are located.

On Friday, October 26th, 2018, the California Valley Miwok Tribe delivered this month’s donations to it’s Tribal Food Distribution Director Mildred Burley for distribution among the tribes federally recognized families. This month saw the increase in donations continue as those who contribute and support this program see this as a human rights endeavor.

Keeping the tribe and it’s families healthy and strong as they continue in the struggle to protect their sovereignty against departmental corruption and greedy bay area investors is almost a calling“. As one supporter put it while making a rather large donation.

Throughout the end of the year, it looks like the tribe will be allowed to give even greater support to it’s beleaguered tribal members just through the generosity that may be due in part to the giving nature that seems to be more prevalent this time of year.

Whatever the reason the tribe gives its special thanks to Morada and its surrounding communities, Walmart stores Inc. and to the Great Creator who for some twenty years of outside interference against our tribe always seems breathe life into our existence so that we do not just fade away.

Thank you all,
The California Valley Miwok Tribe
