Tribal offices, Tribal land, 14807 Avenida Central, La Grange, Ca. 95329.
The California Valley Miwok Tribe started the New Year in high spirits due in part to the continued success of its food program that services the tribe, its citizens and others in its service area that qualify and wish to participate.
For those that are enrolled in the program but cannot travel the extra distance to the tribe’s new location, the tribe now has a delivery vehicle to ensure that no needy family shall do without.
This is the position the tribe wished the Central California Agency-Bureau of Indian Affairs (CCA-BIA) would take due to their continuing neglect of their trust responsibilities to the tribe, its citizens and the native American community in which we serve.
The tribe would like to thank all those responsible for the continued servicing of this much needed program and for working with the tribe, ensuring the programs viability and the tribe’s ability to offer it. Thank you all.
Also a special thanks to the Tule River Reservation (USDA Food Program), Mr. Richard McDarment, USDA FDIR Director, Mrs. Patricia Salas USDA FDIR Intake Manager, Mr. Jesus Salas USDA FDIR Staff and Mr. Ronald Buckman USDA FDIR Staff &Driver.
