The California Valley Miwok Tribe, located at 4620 Shippee Ln. Stockton ca. recently received correspondence from “UNITY”, United National Indian Tribal Youth.
The correspondence was directed to Chairperson Silvia Burley for all that she has done in working with UNITY and addressing the needs of youth in her community.
Unity is the oldest and largest native youth organization in the United States and, as such, has a long history of empowering our youth with training, workshops, conferences and leadership development that has helped participants address the needs of today and well into the future.
If you are interested in attending one of the scheduled conferences, they will be held February 15th-18th at Scottsdale, Arizona and July 4th-8th at Orlando, Florida.
