Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) 11th Annual Training Program.

The California Valley Miwok Tribe (CVMT) received a flyer from Mrs. Terry R. Bentley, Tribal Governmental Relations Specialist – Western Region – Office of Tribal Government Relations, in regards to the upcoming Society of American Indian Government Employees 11th Annual Training Program to be held on June 8-13, 2014, at the Isleta Resort & Casino, located at 11000 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87105.

Formed in 2002, SAIGE is the first national non-profit organization representing American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Federal, Tribal, State, and local government employees. SAIGE provides a forum on the issues, challenges, and opportunities of AI / AN government employees. SAIGE is proud to host an outstanding week-long annual National Training Program focused on professional development, leadership and topics that are integral to the highly complex relationship known as the Federal Indian Trust Responsibility. As part of his program, SAIGE offers special training sessions for veterans, youth, and a Federal Indian Law Course. Additionally, cultural events are presented by local native people.
