CVMT volunteers work together with Ron Buckman, USDA FDPIR staff member, to unload food allotments that will be collected by individual Food Distribution Program participants later in the day.

On Tuesday, November 17th, 2015, The California Valley Miwok Tribe held its monthly USDA Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR).

CVMT Tribal staff and volunteers were on hand to unload allotments to be distributed to individuals participating in the FDPIR program and renewal applications were submitted.

With the Thanksgiving holidays arriving so quickly, many of our disadvantaged FDPIR program participants expressed their joy and thankfulness at receiving pre-cooked frozen hams with their allotments.

Anyone wishing to request a USDA Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) application can contact the California Valley Miwok Tribe via email at office@cvmt.net or by telephone at (209) 931-4567 to have a FDPIR application mailed to you.

The California Valley Miwok Tribe sincerely thanks the Tule River Reservation (USDA Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations), Mr. Richard McDarment, USDA FDPIR Director, Mrs. Patricia Salas, USDA FDPIR Intake Manager, Mr. Jesus Salas, USDA FDPIR Staff and Mr. Ronald Buckman, USDA FDPIR Staff & driver.
