Tribal Offices, Tribal Land, Avenida Central, La Grange, Ca. 95329

The June USDA Food Distribution was held on Thursday the 15th, 2023.
It was another good distribution in fair weather and with mild temperatures.
Lots of water still within our waterways this year and already in mid June.
The local lakes around the tribe are at their highest levels in recent times.
This month as always saw a variety of items and great variance highlighted by packs of bison.

On the BIA front, they are continuing their holding pattern on the theft of the tribe.
Other than one of the fictitious groups being represented by Morgan / Lewis in federal court at the behest of Senator Feinstein so her and her cronies can put a casino in the bay area, (is not going to ever happen), the true and only recognized tribal people’s and their government put forth a filing within the department that has hit home like a stick through their bicycle spokes.
Of course there is an additional group that claim to be the tribe but again have never had a government, federal contracts, MOA’s, MOU’s, or for that matter any agreements whatsoever or programs with county, state or federal entities. This also goes for the first group of never do wells mentioned at the beginning of this paragraph.

These shenanigans and interference by these cons, bureaucrats, elected officials and others of nefarious repute only help to make life a little harder for actual enrolled tribal citizens and their duly elected government that has sworn to protect them.

Again, we call out to Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and Under-Secretary of the BIA Bryan Newland do your job. What is it about a federally recognized tribe of Native American peoples that you can not recognize?
Step up or step aside and let someone who actually wants to work have your job maybe if we are lucky we will actually see some effort. The Great Spirit knows we have not seen any out of either of you as of yet.

Below we would like to thank the entities that do actually work with tribal peoples and appreciate their efforts everyday.

THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, CAL-OES, FEMA, THE RED LAKE NATION OF MINNESOTA, THE TULE RIVER TRIBE, THE ENTIRE STAFF OF THE TULE RIVER FOOD DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT AND THEIR  DIRECTOR RICHARD MCDARMENT AND TO OUR GOOD FRIEND AND SERVICE PROVIDER RONALD BUCKMAN.

THANK YOU,
THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
