Food For Tribal Families, Program Director, (Mildred Burley) stands with this months donations the tribe gratefully received through the generosity of local businesses and concerned citizens within the tribes community.
On Thursday, December 13th, 2018, The California Valley Miwok Tribe delivered its year end Food For Tribal Families, (FFTF) distribution to its Director Mildred Burley for disbursement among its federally enrolled member families.
This month saw the additional donations and support continue as needs are generally higher this time of year, and those who generously support this program gave accordingly.
At the time of this writing, Mildred had already dispersed the delivery to all federally recognized recipients whom this program provides for.
We at the tribe thank tribal elder Mildred Burley for her devotion to the tribe and oversight of this program and commitment to its continued success.
The tribe would also again like to thank Walmart Stores Inc., Morada and its surrounding communities, all those who individually donate and those that have assisted with gathering donations for delivery.
