On Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, the California Valley Miwok Tribe made the Food For Tribal Families delivery to Program Director Mildred Burley.
This is the program’s second delivery of the year and was plentiful in abundance, with many variances of food included in this delivery.

Almost into its 8th full year of operation this program has only failed to deliver once due to insurmountable circumstances beyond the capabilities of the tribe and those who volunteer. The tribe is proud of that record because it is wholly operated without any assistance what so ever by the local BIA who are totally inefficient in fulfilling their duties to the tribe and her citizens.

This month saw a large array of different items both from the USDA, local Corporate Grocers, individual donations and purchases.

As with the last story will not get into what is soon to happen in regards to the beginnings of correcting the local BIA and their criminal attempts pertaining to the insurrection of the tribe, but the agency and the individuals involved will be held accountable and the tribe shall prevail.

Aside from the negativity of the BIA never-do-wells, the tribe would like to finish this story showcased in pictures and special thanks to all those listed below that actually have fulfilled the assistance needed to the tribe that local federal government officials are too incompetent to manage.

The United States Department of Agriculture., Costless Stores Inc., Food For Less Stores Inc., The Grocery Outlet Inc., Walmart Stores Inc., The city of Morada and its surrounding communities., all others who work to make this event happen monthly and our Program Director Mildred Burley.

THANK YOU ALL,
THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
