February 2021 Food For Tribal Families Distribution

Food For Tribal Families Director, Mildred Burley displaying Covid 19 supplies that are supplied to the tribe by the California Office of Emergency Services, ( Cal OES ) and are greatly appreciated by citizen tribal families.

On Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, the California Valley Miwok Tribe delivered its February distribution to its (FFTF) Program Director, Mildred Burley.

Due to the continued expansion of local donations within the tribe’s communities and local businesses, the program to help our people without adherence by the local CCA-BIA to their trust responsibilities continues to thrive.

To all these people and local businesses and to the federal agencies that do fulfill agreements and offer assistance to the tribe such as what was given helping to embellish this distribution, the citizens of the tribe in these extreme times are forever grateful.

This month saw the continuing assistance of Covid 19 supplies included by the California Office of Emergency Services ( Cal OES ), through the tribes contacts Daniel and Mark from its offices.

Addressing our citizen families nutritional and safety needs has been the cornerstone of this program and great satisfaction is felt by all for its continued success.

We would like to thank the USDA, Walmart Stores Inc., Food For Less Stores Inc., California Office of Emergency Services and their representatives Daniel and Mark, Morada its surrounding communities and all who give and volunteer and to our Program Director, Mildred Burley.
