Tribal Offices, Tribal Land, Avenida Central, La Grange, Ca. 95329

On Sunday, November 26th, 2023, the California Valley Miwok Tribe completed the November distribution with an evening delivery.
Once again, it was a complete delivery with all food groups addressed and many festive snacks and baked goods additionally as it is the holiday season.

The many tribal citizens and their families have come to greatly rely upon this wholly initiated tribal endeavor as an available source to compliment their nutritional needs, or in some more severe cases to have enough to make it through to the following month.

This is all due to the local Bureau of Indian Affairs Central California Agency interacting for decades against the well being of the tribe in concert with a host of bad actors over the years, seeking casinos or other benefits derivable by having access or control over a federally recognized tribe.

The two most situated culprits at this time are Superintendent Harley Long whose authority has been harnessed to try and continue an illegal takeover of a federal tribe by a host of never enrolled, without ever having federal status, non-member’s whom they are trying to instill into the tribe. The local bureau’s attempt at trying to create fact from fiction.

The second individual who is currently the instigator in the department in this task and who has a decades long history of meeting with various factions both currently active and some long since dissolved is Carol Rogers-Davis. This individual has even had to be removed from actual official meetings held at bureau offices in the past due to her nefariousness and lack of professionalism.

It is coming on a year now that this current attempt has been made and with end of year holidays and government recessing we expect a last minute dig and currently, there is some action which will be the subject of the next two postings here on californiavalleymiwok.us.

The official site of the tribe and her people and the only site dedicated to and showing the long rich history of the tribe and representative of the tribe’s true and known identity and official status reflected by people’s past and present including American presidents.

Once again as in recent past stories, the real story is contained within pictures of the delivery accompanying this story.

We would also like to thank all those listed below who have assisted the tribe in addressing the nutritional needs of our people.

The United States Department of Agriculture, Costless Stores Inc., Food For Less Stores Inc., The Grocery Outlet Inc., Walmart Stores Inc., Morada and its surrounding communities, all others who make this endeavor possible and to our program director Mildred Burley who is motivated to persevere as she has seen the malfeasance perpetrated against Indian people by BIA underlings her entire life.

THANK YOU ALL,
THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
