This month’s California Valley Miwok Tribal USDA Food Distribution was held on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023.
The weather on this day was great with sunny skies and moderate temperatures with a flowing breeze.

Another good distribution in the books with a sizable amount of nutritional foods either picked up or ready within the following days to be dispersed amongst our program recipients.

The usual food stocks of various mixes, grains, noodles, dried fruits, cereals, juices, oils, various canned fruits, vegetables and meats, dairy including the famous cheese, were augmented by an increase in roasts, hamburger and Walleye.

At this time there has been correspondence with the BIA and they still think themselves above the law and can just steal a tribe at their own whim when they disagree with its leadership or citizens who will not submit to their colonial will or authority.

The California Valley Miwok Tribe being cut off from having anything to do with the BIA, specifically of the BIA’s own doing but enjoying an ongoing relationship with all other 51 departments of the federal government within the interior, think how do they have the right to violate our sovereignty, disenfranchising our citizenry, or make any demands when they work with us on nothing?

The BIA is not a benefit but a burden and it all comes from a lowly tribal ops specialist, Carol Rogers-Davis, who has stooged the acting Superintendent, “Harley Long”, to go along with her on this as she has always said she would never actually do her job and work with us. We citizens also as American taxpayers think this egregious.

The BIA is ran like an out of control asylum where the inmates tell their bosses what they are going to do.

Ignorant, incompetent or corrupt defines the most mismanaged department in the United States Interior.

Deb Haaland and Bryan Newland with the failed examples of what you lead by, these are the realities we have to live with.

On a more positive note, we would like to thank those listed below who actually fulfill their government to government responsibilities and especially to the United States Department of Agriculture who feed Native Americans unlike the BIA who try to starve them out.

THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES, THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, THE RED LAKE NATION OF MINNESOTA, THE TULE RIVER TRIBE AND IT’S FOOD DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT AND ESPECIALLY OUR PROGRAM SERVICE PROVIDER MR. RONALD BUCKMAN.

THANK YOU ALL,

THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
