The California Valley Miwok Tribe held the new year’s USDA food distribution on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019. The distribution takes place at the tribe’s official offices located at 4620 Shippee Lane, Stockton, Ca.
This program continues to be a staple of the tribe as a necessity in helping tribal members and participating recipients in addressing just one of their pressing needs.
The tribe is hopeful that other programs will be made available this year through current actions being taken by the tribes elected officials in securing additional assistance for it’s members and those within it’s service area.
If you are in need of assistance and you feel you may be eligible for this program, please contact the tribe for an application and maybe we will see you at the next distribution.
We would like to thank the USDA and Tule River Food Distribution Department for their continued assistance and service to our tribal needs, to all current participants whose participation strengthens this program and Ronald Buckman who works closely with all tribes in fulfilling the deliveries.
