The California Valley Miwok Tribe held this month’s distribution on Wednesday the 21st of September 2022. It was actually pretty wet right up until
the day of the event with massive rains throughout the entire state in the preceding days, but by the day of event was sunny and clear with just a few
clouds and with cooler temperatures and a consistent breeze. The selection of foods this month included all the usual staples that address the individual
needs for balanced nutrition including a large selection of frozen meats that also included Red Lake Walleye.

Covid Supplies are running extremely low and federal and state resupply programs are operating at minimal capacity due to the crisis being relatively
over, so the tribe will now store remaining reserves if a crisis arises to address needs in case of future delayed resupply.
On the tribe’s legal woes, it appears litigation is in a slow down due to opposing counsel requesting the administrative record in a search for the reasoning
that stopped their attempted illegal takeover working in cahoots with local BIA officials bought and paid for by Senator Dianne Feinstein and her corrupt gang
of bay area oligarchs. What the record will reveal is that there is already a recognized tribal people and a government servicing them organizing under custom and tradition almost a quarter of a century ago and that one BIA official actually saw that fact and actually followed the law. We at the tribe do not see how any
of that will help the carpetbagging, Johnny come lately law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius when they are confronted by the facts, because facts are stubborn things.

We would like to thank the United States Department of Agriculture, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, California Office of Emergency Services,
The Tule River Tribe, The Tule River Food Distribution Department, The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota, all participants of this program and Ronald Buckman
for his never ending dedication to the Native American community and congratulations and best wishes to our friend and his soon to be bride on their upcoming wedding.

THANK YOU
THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
