Food For Tribal Families, Director, Mildred Burley glances over all of this months delivery that she will distribute to citizen families
of the tribe.
On Monday March 23rd 2020, the California Valley Miwok Tribe delivered its monthly delivery of donated and newly enrolled USDA Food Programmed accepted applicant foods to tribal, ( Food For Tribal Families )( FFTF ) Director, Mildred Burley.
The tribe, upon its own initiative and with the epidemic upon us and continued failure of the local BIA CCA in fulfilling to comply with their trust responsibilities, is grateful that other federal agencies such as the United States Department of Agriculture assists through the Tule River Tribal Food Distribution Program in making sure that our tribal citizens nutritional needs are met.
Although the epidemic affects us all the tribe is also thankful for what assistance the community of Morada has been able to continue, and also for the continued assistance from Walmart Stores Inc. and Food For Less Inc.
We also wish to thank tribal elder and, ( FFTF ) Director Mildred Burley for her service and dedication to the tribe.
