This month’s USDA Food Distribution was held on Monday, July 22nd, 2024. This may have been the hottest day for a distribution since the program’s inception in 2009. It reached temperatures during the distribution of 105 degrees.

With always a slight breeze and some nearby shade, there was some respite for anyone who soldiered through the heat.

In spite of local BIA, this program remains strong and resilient and is a major source to families both tribal and native American within the general public.

Will let pictures tell rest of story and rest on what devious actions the local BIA is trying to initiate and forthcoming actions currently being put into motion to keep these cretins in their place. As that will be addressed shortly in a series of stories to be posted on this site.

At this time, we would like to thank all listed below for their ongoing government to government relationship with the tribe and for the services they provide to this program and otherwise.

THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRACULTURE, THE RED LAKE NATION OF MINNESOTA, THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES, THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND ESPECIALLY TO THE TULE RIVER TRIBE, THE TULE RIVER FOOD DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT, TO ASSISTANT DIRECTOR AND PERSONAL PROGRAM PROVIDER RONALD BUCKMAN, TO PROGRAM DIRECTOR RICHARD MCDARMEN,

KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT, WE ARE WITH YOU IN HEART AND SPIRIT FOR YOU HAVE HELPED SO MANY.

THANK YOU ALL,
THE CALIFORNIA VALLEY MIWOK TRIBE
