February 2020 USDA Food Distribution
The California Valley Miwok Tribe held the second distribution of the year on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020. February turned out to be a great month for the tribe due to a few political bad actors being exposed through tribal investigations, FOIA’s and leaks of information from within this fictitious groups own ranks.
That made for a very good distribution and a continuation of the stability of this much needed program that the tribe continues to be able to provide.
Also now you are not automatically excluded if you are on S.S.I. So, if you are retired or have a permanent disability but are Native American or are in a Native American household, please email the tribe at office@cvmt.net and ask to be emailed an application.
This program is available to qualified applicants and no one eligible should do without.
The tribe is hopeful that everyone who qualifies takes advantage of this free program to help lessen their financial restraints by taking advantage of this food assistance program made possible by, The United States Department of Agriculture.
The tribe would like to thank all the employees at the Tule River Food Distribution Facility, and also a special thank you to our friend and specialist Ronald Buckman who delivers our monthly distributions.
Thank you,
The California Valley Miwok Tribe
