On Thursday, December 12th, 2024, the California Valley Miwok Tribe delivered the final distribution of the Food For Tribal Families Program for 2024.
It has been another successful year of a longstanding program initiated by the tribe to help address the nutritional needs of its citizens, when the local BIA criminally stopped all services due to the intense hatred they had for the tribe, its people, and its government, that would not allow itself to be subjugated or its sovereign right to self-governance be taken, controlled, or stolen by totalitarian, minuscule, malcontent, minor bureaucrats of the local, regional, and central offices of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Of course, it is not legal to abruptly stop government-to-government relationships or services, but the BIA is anything but professional or legal in how they conduct themselves, as evidenced by the multitude of litigations filed against them on a daily basis.
The tribe has, however, continued to exercise its federal status, government relationships, and consultations with every other level of local, county, state, and federal departments without issue.
We look forward to a great new year, and have taken many strides to assure a better future for our people, that will soon become evident to all those not privileged (local BIA and their fabricated tribal pretendians) to have that information.
