On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, the California Valley Miwok Tribe made this month’s distribution to its Program Director Mildred Burley.
This month saw an even larger array of foods than usual due to the additional assistance and donations made available by entities aware of the criminal actions the tribe is currently faced with.
Next story will have attachments of additional lawsuit and preliminary injunction and will be posted when all attachments are available.
The tribe remains strong and resolute, expecting anything can happen when you are thrown to the discretion of the federal government.
Currently though with the overturning of CHEVRON federal judges are now the deciding factors in authorities, representations and ambiguities that previously shifted deference to federal departments like the BIA no matter how criminal, corrupt or incompetent they may be.
Also, this is just the beginning of a very long and multiple court litigious cycle, not the end, so the tribe is fully expecting many years long litigation, regardless of whatever may happen against or in favor of the tribe’s position, and would expect all those opposed to the tribe should expect the same.
IT AIN’T OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS AND AS OF YET, WE ARE UNAWARE OF REGIONAL DIRECTOR AMY DUTSCHKE BEING ABLE TO CARRY A NOTE.
It would break the backs of the Valkyries to try and give this fat lady a ride to Valhalla!

Especially to our Program Director and tribal elder Mildred Burley who has forgotten more true native culture than all the criminals at BIA and the non-native (Pretendians) that they wish to steal the tribe and be able to control will ever know.
