The California Valley Miwok Tribe located at 10601 Escondido Pl., Stockton, CA (as listed in the federal register of the Bureau of Indian Affairs BIA/DOI) – a federally recognized tribe eligible to receive services from the federal government, on Wednesday, September 29th, sent by certified mail with return receipt its new aid to tribal government budget for FY-2011.
This is a contract in which the Tribe has mature status. All federally recognized tribes that wish to contract for these monies in their government to government relationship with the United States must submit these type of contracts with a postmark no later than September 30th of any contract year or can deliver by hand no later than October 1st.
The California Valley Miwok Tribe would like to take this opportunity to remind all federally recognized tribes within California that at the time of this writing, the deadline is only a few days away.
