On Thursday June 28th 2018, the California Valley Miwok Tribe conducted its Food For Tribal Families, ( FFTF ) Program. This continues to be a much needed program that exists only through the volunteer efforts of tribal members and the generous donations of Morada, the surrounding communities and Walmart Stores Inc.
The tribe fully expects to expand this service and initiate other needed services with the successful termination of actions taken by outside interests. these actions are nefarious in nature with only the intent to cause harm to actual tribal members.
The acting director for this tribal program, Tribal Elder Mildred Burley was especially pleased and motivated when she saw the abundance of this month’s donations that were given to the tribe. In just a matter of hours she was able to connect with all tribal families and disperse this month’s donations.
The California Valley Miwok Tribe would like to thank all those who show support through giving. The community of Morada in which the tribal offices are located, surrounding area’s and Walmart Stores Inc. for once again donating a variety of frozen meats to supplement our program.
We wish all of you a happy and safe, ( 4th of July ).
