The California Valley Miwok Tribe Received information regarding an upcoming conference of language teaching, retention and preservation to be held August 7th-9th 2018.
The correspondence was sent by Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation Tribal Chairman Anthony Roberts and the event will be hosted by the tribe and held at the tribes location.

This is the 7th such conference to be held by the Living Language Circle, which was created through a partnership between the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. To provide the required training for accreditation to the teachers whom teach indigenous languages and cultures throughout the state and to assist them in all aspects and implementation in those teachings.
