The California Valley Miwok Tribe held its May USDA Food Distribution on May 17th, 2021. It was a moderate day with a light breeze that may for a good distribution.
Many items in this month’s distribution will make for great additions for the Bar-B-Q, but remember to take great caution with all outside cooking due to the current drought situation and approaching extreme heat weather.
We would like to thank the USDA, ( United States Department of Agriculture ) the Tule River Tribe and its Food Distribution Department, specialists Ronald Buckman and Naz, for working with the tribe and helping us to make this program available for all those eligible within the tribe’s service area.
