The card received on Thursday, December 20th, 2012, was addressed to the California Valley Miwok Tribe at 10601 N. Escondido Pl., Stockton, California 95212, from the White House and signed by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The card says, “The White House, Washington DC – Happy Holidays! Each Year this season inspires a renewed appreciation for the many blessings we enjoy in our lives. May we all carry forth a joyful spirit of the holidays to lift up the lives of those around us – not only during this cherished season, but throughout the year.
